Harbin Steam Works Selects ISOPur Fluid Technologies Breakthrough Oil Purification Systems
ISOPur units for various models of Harbin Steam Turbines in China
Rocky Hill, CT - ISOPur Fluid Technologies Europe s.r.l., based in Lucca, Italy, announced that is has signed an OEM Frame Contract with Harbin Steam Turbine Works High Technologies Ltd., headquartered in Shanghai, China.
The ISOPur units will provide high technology oil purification on various models of steam turbines manufactured by Harbin Steam Turbine Works for duty throughout the People's Republic of China. The contract calls for orders of various ISOPur units to be placed by Harbin Steam Turbine Works through ISOPur Europe's branch office in Shanghai, China.
ISOPur's patented industrial fluid purification systems feature a new technology known as Balanced Charge Agglomeration (BCA), expected to have a far reaching effect on not just global industry, but on the wellbeing of our planet. BCA protects the environment dramatically by reducing the need to dispose of billions of gallons of used oil a year while simultaneously protecting billions of dollars worth of industrial, manufacturing and power generation equipment throughout the world. It allows manufacturers, processors and other companies to drastically lower equipment operating, maintenance and replacement costs.
ISOPur systems are ideal for steam and gas turbines, compressors, hydraulic systems and industrial and manufacturing equipment that require workhorse lubricants such as lubricating oils, hydraulic fluids, diesel fuel and cooking oils known as non-conducting fluids. These fluids enable moving parts of machinery to operate smoothly and efficiently. As the lubricants become dirty and contaminated, they require replacement and disposal. Even the most expensive filtration systems on the market today are only able to extend the useful life of these fluids for a limited period of time. ISOPur's BCA technology is able to keep these fluids like new, year after year, without replacement.
"ISOPur systems transform lubricating oil into a capital asset that can be used again and again without replacement rather than a commodity and a liability to use and dispose of," said James Isaacs, Vice President International for ISOPur Fluid Technologies, Inc. and President of ISOPur Fluid Technologies Europe, s.r.l. "The ISOPur systems pay for themselves very quickly and the return on investment for customers is substantial. We are delighted that Harbin Steam Turbine works has selected to offer ISOPur's breakthrough technology to customers throughout China."
A wide range of industrial and power generation companies in Europe, North America, and Asia are already using ISOPur's BCA technology. ISOPur customers include equipment manufacturers such as Ansaldo, Atlas Copco, and Eaton Corporation; power companies such as Enel, one of Europe's largest power producers; a number of food producers including Refined Sugar and Sanwa Shoko; as well as various institutions and municipalities.
Customer testimonials and lab testing confirm that ISOPur's BCA process, which uses carefully balanced electrical charges to separate contaminants from oils and fuels, is capable of purifying lubricating oils, hydraulic fluids, diesel fuel and cooking oils to a much higher level of purity than conventional filtration alternatives, many of which are still using the more than half century old "coffee filter method" of mechanical filtering.
"ISOPur's BCA technology catapults filtration technology to an unheard of level in terms of efficiency, environmental benefits, cost savings, reduced maintenance, enhanced equipment uptime, and expansive residual benefits," said Gerald L. Munson, Chief Technology Officer for ISOPur Fluid Technologies. "The BCA process actually pulls small particles of dirt and contamination from inside the machinery, enabling the equipment to operate more efficiently and reliably. This significantly reduces maintenance and repair costs and equipment downtime and extends the service life of the equipment."
"Companies with manufacturing and industrial equipment no longer have to be concerned about cleaning particles as small as 0.1 micrometers, or worry about internal deposits, rust and corrosion, and cleaning and replacing filters. What's more, ISOPur customers find that the BCA technology in many cases actually improves the quality of the original oil," said Munson.
